What We Do Right Now Matters
•
Only 49% of Americans believe humans are very much responsible for climate change. We need to win more people over so we can make real changes. Click here for more.

• Scientists agree that humans are responsible for climate change. If we agree on this, we can move forward together on solutions. Learn more here.

• There is no time to lose. If we act now, we can still stop some of the effects of climate change.

Why the Walrus?

As seen in David Attenborough's new documentary film, A Life on Our Planet, Walruses are falling off rocky cliffs, hundreds of feet to their deaths. The behind the scenes video is here and it is traumatic and heartbreaking.

Why?
Human-made climate change is causing ice to melt around the earth's poles. Walruses live in the Northern Seas and rely on ice for much of their lives. However, without as much ice, walruses are forced to come ashore. They come ashore in large numbers and since there is not always enough room by the water, where they naturally stay, they sometimes climb hills. Some of these hills give way to cliffs.

Why is this a problem?
Walruses can't see well out of water. They aren't good at climbing. They weigh up to two tons. And when they get scared, or when they want to return to the sea, but don't understand that they can't just dive into the water, disaster happens. The ones that fall off cliffs are scared, they are in pain, and they die a horrible death, sometimes quickly, but more likely, slowly. And hundreds of them can die at a time.

What can I do?
We must do everything we can to stop climate change and save what little of the ice we still have. We must start empathetic, science-based conversations with climate deniers and those who don't know the science, about the very real, very devastating effects climate change is having right now.

About Our
"I Witness" Posters

These paintings show the effects of climate change on animals of the world. If they're in danger, we're all in danger. We have a responsibility to our planet and ourselves to live sustainably, lest we throw off the balance that enables such diversity and ability for life to thrive on our planet.

Extinction is Not an Option.

Join The Movement
The world is losing time to solve climate change.
Act with us. Let's fight climate change and mass extinction together.
We're a radically hopeful, group of artists and enthusiasts using our collective power to make a difference.
There is no time to waste, and there is no turning back.

It's Time to Care. It's Time to Take Action.

You've Come To The Right Place
We believe in creatively getting the word out about climate change, building thriving, sustainable communities, fiercely protecting the wild spaces we have, rehabilitating the planet, and leveraging our collective power against corporations and governments that are killing our planet. We believe radical change is possible through radical hope, courage, organization, and action.

What's At Stake
For hundreds of years, humans have been increasing the temperature of the planet through unsustainable practices like burning fossil fuel, overfishing, and the destruction of entire ecosystems. We've reached a tipping point where, if we don't take unprecedented action now, our planet will continue seeing massive storms, climate fires, and toxic air, until humans are no longer able to survive. At this rate, humans face the very real possibility of extinction within one to two generations, with every passing year getting harder and harder to survive.
